"Travel broadens the mind." Boundaries are the artificial lines that exist on a map. TAP members travel to destinations in Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, and Egypt. Getting out of the city in which they live sparks an enthusiasm that causes young people to explore their connections to others on the planet, and sparks an intense desire to travel in the future.

In order to discover the answers to such questions you must become still and listen. Listen to the inner signals which contain the essence of who you are.

Travel teaches us much, like a frog out of the well. There are so many diversity in this world of ours. Each with their own uniqueness. You just cannot assume that everyone lives the same way. Example, look at contentment. In the cities, people are trying so hard to make a living to be contented. They have modern luxuries, but these are not enough. They continually keep searching. Travel to outlying countryside where modern luxuries are not a necessity but an indulgence. Yet the folks are contented with their simple life. They are also more trusting of you than city folks.

Traveling through different countries open ones eyes to different significance in ways of life. The treasure of family bonds in eastern culture compared to the desire of independence in the west. Different eyes different views. And much cannot be learned from textbooks. Only by looking with your own eyes and keeping an open mind can you read the different meaning of life.

Bonaire Scuba Diving, Netherlands Antilles.

Diving on Bona ire is a shore thing: Just rent a four-wheel-drive vehicle and head out on the island's bumpy roads to any of 50-plus yellow dive markers. Whether you suit up with tanks or just take out the snorkel, you'll appreciate the healthy reefs of the 20-year-old marine park, one of the first and finest in the world.

Over the last two decades, Bona ire has consistently ranked as the finest snorkeling and scuba diving destination in the Caribbean. A major reason for this prominence is the island's diligent stewardship of its marine resources -- all of the waters off Bona ire's coast have been legally protected since 1979, and it shows.

Bona ire's pristine reefs and diverse marine life are unique to the Caribbean. Because the waters around Bona ire are designated as an official marine park, diving Bona ire is like diving the Caribbean the way it used to be - untouched and unspoiled. The island's location in the south Caribbean gives it an arid climate with little rainfall; consequently, the waters are exceptionally clear of silt, calm, and divable year round. It is an ideal destination for underwater photographers. Water temperatures average a warm 78-84°F (25.6-28.9°C), with visibility often averaging over 100 feet(30m), and frequently, up to 150 feet (55m).

Cozumel Scuba Diving, Mexico.

Cozumel is a lazy diver's paradise--simply fall into the water, and the island's strongish currents will carry you away, past a Technicolor reef scene that boasts a rainbow array of sponges and scads of unique fish.  Look in cracks and crevices for the whiskered Splendid Toadfish, found nowhere else on Earth.

Now a bit about the island...Cozumel is Mexico's largest island, nestled just 12 miles off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. Cozumel measures 28 miles long & 10 miles wide,and is world renown for it's dazzling white sandy beaches and the remarkable clarity of the multi-hued azure Caribbean ocean in which it rests. The climate is subtropical & the people native to Cozumel are of Mayan descent.

Cozumel itself was a sleepy little fishing community until 1961, when a Frenchman by the name of Jacques Cousteau declared us one of the most beautiful scuba diving areas of the world. Since that time Cozumel has become an underwater marine park to protect the delicate balance of it's dazzling coral reefs & abundant variety of tropical fish. The underwater wildlife is absolutely amazing here & due to the clarity of the water ( 100 - 200 ft visibility, depending on the season ), you do not have to be a diver to enjoy it. Simply put on a mask & snorkel and jump in & you will feel like you have been dropped into a tropical fish tank !!

Belize Scuba Diving.

The only predominantly English-speaking nation in Latin America, Belize boasts three of the four atolls to be found in all the Caribbean.  Diving off these atolls is not to be missed, particularly the 412-foot trough in the Belize Reef called the Blue Hole, featuring walls covered with healthy coral and sponges and some of the biggest fish you'll find in the Caribbean.

Ambergris Caye features a reef on its East Coast that is the second longest in the world (160 miles), right behind the Australian Great Barrier Reef. The reef can be seen from the shore thanks to the white crest of waves hitting it constantly (and the distinct change in color the sea takes beyond it).

You will pretty much be doing drift dives exclusively, although the current is softer than Cozumel. The dive profiles are fairly similar: the maximum depth is usually in the 90-100 feet range and features amazing corrals and swim through's. The aquatic population is what you would expect in the Caribbean: nurse sharks, moray eels, turtles, various rays (which you can sometimes see directly from the pier, swimming lazily in two feet of water), etc…

The Blue Hole
There are two atolls southeast of Ambergris Caye: Turneffe Island and Lighthouse Reef , where the Blue Hole is located. It is a collapsed volcano situated sixty miles southeast of San Pedro and it was explored and made popular by Jacques-Yves Costa in the seventies. The Blue Hole is about 1000 feet wide and 420 feet deep. The dive will take you to the maximum allowed depth for recreational diving: 130 feet. It is an advanced dive and not to be undertaken

Little Cayman Scuba Diving, Cayman Islands.

The secret of its success is undoubtedly Bloody Bay Wall, a sheer drop-off that begins in 18 feet of water and plunges almost completely vertically into the inky darkness.  The wall is splattered with corals and sponges and is tended by all sorts of reef fish.

Many books, picture guides and magazine articles have been published on the subject of diving in the Cayman Islands, and, quite simply, these islands have the best scuba diving that you'll ever find. The sheer number and diversity of the dive sites is truly amazing.

A few of the many diving opportunities include wall dives, cave dives, coral garden dives, reef dives, wreck dives, Stingray City dives, and the list goes on. We won't mention dive sites by name since these won't mean anything to you, but suffice it to say, that after you've visited us and dived our waters, the dive site names will be embedded in your memory. Within the Cayman Islands there are several hundred named and regularly visited dive sites and the underwater visibility is well over 100 feet on all three islands.

Red Sea Scuba Diving, Egypt.

On the eastern edge of the Sahara lies one of the choicest diving spots in the world.  Separated from the rest of the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea has been left to develop an exhilarating reef system unparalleled in the region.  To top it all off, 30 percent of the marine life here is endemic to the area.

To anyone standing on its shore and gazing out across its heavenly waters, the Red Sea may seem to be a mislabeling. Its blueness is eternal and anything less red cannot be fantasized. The Red Sea, where the desert meets the ocean, is truly one of the planet's most exotic and fascinating natural seascape environments. The Red Sea is located between Asia and Africa. At its most northerly point forms the Sinai Peninsula and stretches over 1000 miles south to join the Indian Ocean, between Ethiopia and Yemen. In the north and west are desert plains, while in the south a mountainous region (2642 meters high), which is part of the mountain range stretching from deep in Saudi Arabia, across the Sinai and then into Nubia of the African continent. The Red Sea holds beneath its crystal blue surface an oasis of living creatures, reefs, and coral formation. Its use as a highway between East and West has attracted man since the beginning of time.
